Lawlor Burns & Associates Appointed Quantity Surveyors for Newcastle West Primary Care Centre

Lawlor Burns & Associates were recently appointed as quantity surveyors for the new development project for the Primary Care Centre in Newcastle West. The Care Centre will be a 40,000ft² healthcare campus for the people of West Limerick. It was granted permission in November 2019 and is due to go to site this May.

The Primary Care Centre building will be on the site of the former Pallas Foods chicken processing factory. It will have a GP clinic and will include HSE primary care services and diagnostic facilities including radiology and ultrasound. This new multi-million euro development will accommodate Tusla while also providing services such as occupational therapy, dentistry, physiotherapy and ophthalmology services.

A café and pharmacy will also be part of the new development, with 120 car parking spaces and covered bicycle parking allowing for comfortable access for patients and service users.

Quantity Surveying Services - Tusla - St Joseph’s Hospital

Lawlor Burns & Associates Providing Quantity Surveying Services for Tusla Headquarters at St Joseph’s Hospital

Lawlor Burns & Associates are delighted to announce that we will be providing Quantity Surveying Services for Tusla for their new regional headquarters at St Joseph’s Hospital, Mulgrave Street, Limerick. Nautic Construction have  been appointed as the main contractor.

The work involves the construction of a new three-storey extension connected to an existing protected structure, while the three-storey protected structure building will be internally renovated, altered and refurbished to provide consultation and meeting rooms, offices, stores and a plant room.  The site works will include provision of car parking spaces, site fittings, drainage, electrical and mechanical services and landscaping.

Industry Certification for our Project Development Work with Shannon Commercial Properties and Jaguar Land Rover

Lawlor Burns & Associates were delighted to receive some good news about our recently completed new build commercial office development with Shannon Commercial Properties and Jaguar Land Rover which cost €15 million to complete.

Jaguar Land Rover have located their new software engineering centre at two, brand new state-of-the-art buildings at the Shannon Free Zone. The buildings have been newly developed by Shannon Commercial Properties, a Shannon Group company, as part of a first phase development of its wider investment programme launched at the Free Zone in 2015. The programme is aimed at developing cutting edge office/commercial space capable of enable IDA and Enterprise Ireland to attract new FDI and indigenous companies and bring additional employment into the region.

Jaguar now occupy Block C (an office block) and Block E (separate testing facility). The development has received LEED v4 Commercial Interior (CI) Gold certification in respect of the fit-out works. Meanwhile, the base buildings achieved LEED v3 Core and Shell (CS) certification. The fitout took advantage of the base buildings Solar PV and Rainwater Harvesting.
